I'm Shayne, a Brisbane based artist and designer.

I have expressed myself through mixed media since I was a child. In high school, I combined black and white photography class projects with stencil art and typography for my art class project submissions. That's when my high school art teacher gave me great advice and suggested I should look into Graphic Design as a career.

I took her advice and I used my time in high school to complete TAFE Certificates II and III in arts and build a solid creative portfolio. This lead me to study Graphic Design at Design College Australia. To fund my studies, I worked as a mini lab operator and freelance graphic designer until I graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication.

Since then, I have worked in various magazine companies, design studios, marketing agencies and in my own practice as a resident in creative spaces. While working as a graphic designer, my self expression and thought provoking artwork has been exhibited around Brisbane and Melbourne.

Throughout the years of artistic experimentation, I have developed my specialties in visual identity, brand development, typography, abstract art and stencil art.

My journey as an artist and graphic designer is based on passion, creativity and strategic thinking with a desire to make a meaningful impact through visual storytelling.
